7/27/2023 0 Comments Acr1 3 volt battery![]() ![]() Each load has a switch to its respective battery, and the three battery banks are liked together using Automatic Charge Relays (ACR's) So when any engine is running and charging its dedicated start battery the ACR's will combine and send the charge to all the batteries. The switches shown have manual lockouts for servicing. These two requirements are pretty much mutually exclusive on a larger boat unless remote switches are used. Remote battery switches are used so that the switches can be as near the batteries as possible (as required by ABYC) while also being accessible (also per ABYC). The boat has two engines, each with their own starting battery, and a large house battery. This is a greatly simplified drawing that only shows positive wires and omits circuit protection. Modules connected in such a way must not have either input or output connected to ground, and we would not recommend such usage unless the client feels competent to make educated decisions about this configuration. There are many ways to do a layout for multi-engine boats, here is one simple way to do it using remote switches. In extreme circumstances it may be possible to operate units requiring dual rail supplies from a single floating DC supply, in which circumstances the +ve rail should be connected to the +ve power terminal and the 0V or ground rail should be connected to the –ve terminal of the power input with no external connection to the 0V power terminal. PoweringĪpart from passive modules, all Stick-ons require either a single 24-33V DC rail or a dual-rail 12-0-12 to 16-0-16V DC supply. STS-RF1 mounting enclosure is a shielded chassis with detachable terminal block for mounting a single Stick-On module onto a flat surface. In addition the modules may be fitted in conjunction with RDL Flat-Pak and RDL Rack-Up modules in certain of the housings designed for these. A range of accessories are available for mounting modules. ST series modules are supplied with a self-adhesive foam pad which can be used to attach the module to a clean flat surface. ![]() Avoid mixed use! Input voltage 0-36VDC, output voltage typically 0.7VDC less than input. One ST-PD5U should be used per power rail employed, ie: one to feed single-rail devices, two to feed dual-rail devices. Typically it would be used to provide the supply voltage to five individual Stick-On modules from a single, possibly remote, source. This unit provides five individually de-coupled and diode isolated outputs from a single DC input. 2 Compressor limiter / gain control modules.Categories By brand New products Audio and data connectors Video and RF connectors Power connectors, distribution and batteries Connection panels and stageboxes Fibre optic cables, connectors and interfaces Cable assemblies, patchcords and leads Cables Cabling accessories and tools Bags and cases Racks and enclosures Rack accessories and hardware Lights, clocks, furniture, fittings and equipment supports Drives, memory, media, labelling and sound effects Microphones Radio Microphones Microphone supports, amplifiers, powering and accessories Headphones, headsets, earpieces, amplifiers and wireless systems Hearing protection and noise control Record, replay and radio receivers Audio interfacing Video interfacing, processing, monitoring and camera accessories Audio mixers and processing Amplification Loudspeakers and audio monitoring Test and measurement Communications, conferencing and datacoms Assistive Listening Index By brand Index New products Special offers Clearance list
